Job Title : Low Voltage Service Technician
Position Overview :
As a Low Voltage Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and programming our customized security, access control, data and / or fire alarm offerings.
Essential Position Functions :
- Effectively manages time on installations, staying on or below budgeted man-hours for each project.
- Effectively performs installations on multiple projects and provides weekly updates to the Supervisor and / or Account Manager.
- Works closely with scheduling coordinator to ensure projects are completed on or before assigned deadlines.
- Works with contractors and / or customers to identify any and all necessary change orders. Then presents this information to the Supervisor and / or Account Manager.
- Communicates effectively in visual, oral and written form.
- Demonstrates ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
- Promotes collaboration, partnerships and positive long lasting relationships with customers.
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending improvements.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping customer information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Continually enforces safety to the highest standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
