Uhring’s Hearing and Balance Audiology Practice in the Central PA area is seeking an Audiologist for their location in the State College, PA area. We are close to all of Penn State and State College activities. Elise Uhring (owner) has prior experience as a clinic coordinator and instructor at Penn State University for many years!
This opportunity provides some flexibility, a lot of autonomy and an earning potential of $65-85K annually (based upon experience). We encourage our providers to pursue areas in the Audiology field they are passionate about. We are a very busy, patient focused practice which gives a good work / life balance to our team. The hours are 9AM-5PM-Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities :
- Establish rapport and gather history from patients, conduct audiometric testing, and make recommendations for hearing aids.
- Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions, or problems.
- Dispense accessories including batteries, special products, ALD’S, or any other product available through practice.
- Report patient test results to originating referral source or appropriate staff member for tracking and documentation.
- Support clinic operations by conducting quality control analysis of incoming hearing aids and maintenance of test areas, equipment, and supplies.
- Participation with Cognivue, working with local ENT’s in the area.
- Auditory Processing and Tinnitus Evaluations.
- Pediatric Care

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
