Access Care Representative - Call Center, 33 Lewis Rd Shift Day Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $17.05 - $22.17 per hour, depending on experience. Overview The Call Center is a fast-paced team, focused on providing the most patient responsive communication through friendly interactions across our Physician Practice Division. We are seeking candidates who take pride in performing high levels of service, enjoy multitasking, and value supporting others. This position is not patient facing but, in our hubs, located either in Vestal or Binghamton, supporting taking calls for over 40 clinics. As an Access Care Representative, you will perform a wide variety of activities related to scheduling, registration, financial compliance, and customer support for all services performed. The Access Care areas act as the entry point. It is the responsibility of an Access Care Representative to promote a caring, professional manner, while collecting Accurate and complete data necessary for billing and account processing. Education/Experience Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Two years’ experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care. Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Medical Terminology, experience with scheduling.
