Inventory Control Coordinator, UHS Wilson Medical Center Shift Rotational Hours per week: 40 Salary range: per hour, depending on experience. Overview Under the general direction of the Central Warehouse Supervisor, and in conjunction with Sterile Processing, and Purchasing Agents, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels through effective PAR analysis to ensure efficient organization of storage rooms. This includes cycle counting, inventory maintenance, requisitioning, receiving, expensing, monitoring back orders, coordinating product changes, maintaining par levels, managing recalls in support of the Central Warehouse and Sterile Processing area for all UHS Hospitals locations. The Inventory Control Coordinator also is responsible for maintaining storage areas in accordance with regulatory agencies governing storage of clean & sterile supplies. This role is critical in maintaining optimal stock levels, improving workflow efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring the quality and safety of stored products. The Candidate must have the ability to travel to any/all UHSH locations including and not limited to: Hospitals/Clinics/Warehouses/Administrative Offices. Education/Experience Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain. Must have familiarity with clean supply storage standards for survey readiness and familiarity with safety and regulatory standards for storage and inventory management. Must have exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy and have a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions. Preferred: 5 years inventory management and purchasing function responsibilities.
