ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

Position Summary:
The Account Specialist is responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner; assists employees and supervisors with payroll related issues.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bi-weekly payroll processing in compliance with regulations and UHS policy.
- Input new employee data and information into Kronos.
- Prepare out-of-cycle paychecks with proper approval.
- Review Kronos timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
- Download, store, and maintain payroll reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with HR on employee transactions.
- Educate Managers on Kronos functionalities; serve as a resource for employees.
- Review and process invoices, employee expense reports, and AP check requests.
- Determine correct expense codes for invoices and expense reports.
- Perform month-end tasks, including AP check run, expense accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1) years’ experience processing payroll preferred.
- Kronos and Lawson experience preferred.
