ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

Position Summary:

The Account Specialist is responsible for ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and in a timely manner; assists employees and supervisors with payroll related issues.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Bi-weekly payroll processing in compliance with regulations and UHS policy.
  2. Input new employee data and information into Kronos.
  3. Prepare out-of-cycle paychecks with proper approval.
  4. Review Kronos timesheets for completeness and accuracy.
  5. Download, store, and maintain payroll reports and documentation.
  6. Collaborate with HR on employee transactions.
  7. Educate Managers on Kronos functionalities; serve as a resource for employees.
  8. Review and process invoices, employee expense reports, and AP check requests.
  9. Determine correct expense codes for invoices and expense reports.
  10. Perform month-end tasks, including AP check run, expense accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) years’ experience processing payroll preferred.
  • Kronos and Lawson experience preferred.
