Job Summary:

 

We are currently seeking a Full Time Administrative Coordinator.  This position is responsible for coordinating the administrative function for the Workers Compensation and Occupational Health division.  Duties including but not limited to:

  • Handle the day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting  Employee Health and California Workers Compensation claims.
  • Communicates with clients and clinics to address inquiries or escalations while maintaining accurate health records.
  • Managing registration, appointments, referrals, and completing necessary documentation (such as work statuses, PR2s, and Requests for Authorization).
  • Following up on pending authorizations.
  • Collaborating with the Business Office on billing issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant local, state, and federal laws.  

Qualifications

Experience/Training/Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 Years administrative experience in occupational Health, including insurance billing and coding, and California Workers Compensation claims.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State, COVID, OSHA and FMLA/CFRA regulations required.
  • Experience with California Workers Compensation Authorization guidelines.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
