LCCA is recruiting full time night shift Admission Clinicians to join an awesome team. The Clinician is responsible for all aspects of intake and admission processes and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: maintaining daily census records, entering all intake and admission data into a hospital computer database, handling intake calls, completing thorough intake assessments, determining appropriate levels of care with MDs, verifying insurance benefits, completing insurance prior-authorization requests, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources, completing follow-up tasks pending resolution and ensuring treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs. Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree and at least two years or relatable experience in counseling or behavioral health (counseling, social work, sociology or psychology) or relatable field with relevant experience in intake and admissions. Registered Nurses (RNs) encouraged to apply.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid state driver’s license with appropriate endorsement.
