Admissions Coordinator

3:00pm - 11:00am night shift

Full time Opportunity

 

Brynn Marr Hospital is committed to providing the highest standard of psychiatric care to adults, adolescents, and children. Since 1983, our behavioral health therapists in Jacksonville, NC, have equipped patients with the skills they need to live happier, healthier, and more productive lives. We offer evidence-based treatment programs that address a number of issues, including grief, trauma, psychiatric disorders, and substance abuse problems.

 

This position works to serve the patient and patient’s family through the coordination of Admissions planning.  This person must possess discretion, the ability to act independently, good clinical judgment, creative thinking and problem-solving initiative.  Strong communication skills, and the ability to exhibit empathy are a must. The person in this position must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and strong time management skills.

 

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Master’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical area, such as counseling or social work.

Qualifications

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Master’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical area, such as counseling or social work.

 

Physical requirements:

Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.  Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.  Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job is rated light work when it requires: (1) walking or standing to a significant degree; (2) sitting most of the time while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls; or (3) working at a production rate pace while constantly pushing or pulling materials even though the weight of the materials is negligible. 

Grasping; Speaking; Hearing; Computer use; Visual acuity (color, depth perception, field of vision); Sitting; Standing; Walking; Pushing; Pulling; Stooping; Reaching; Twisting; Crouching; Agility to perform physical restraints / holds; Agility to administer CPR
