Corona Regional Medical Center, Corona, Ca
The screener is responsible to query all persons entering the hospital based upon a set of standardized questions related to their current health status prior to allowing entry into the building. The screener will assure each person practices hand hygiene, and is wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and completes the required question set. Visitors will be evaluated and directed appropriately. During non-busy times, the screener will complete other duties such as logging of patient belongings, infectious disease review and reporting, data tabulation, report generation, and other duties as assigned.

Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Good customer service and communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to change in a positive manner.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and non-verbally. Positive attitude.
Able to work in an organized and efficient manner.
Able to use computer and Microsoft Office
Ability to exercise initiative while remaining within job description boundaries.
Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills in the English Language.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
One year of customer service experience preferred.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
Health care or caregiver training, preferred
