The Dietary Aide is a key member of the Northstar Behavioral Health Team who ensures the delivery of healthy, desirable, and cost effective dietary services to patients, staff, and guests of the organization.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Politely greets and serves meals to all cafeteria customers; ensures food is placed on the serving line in a timely manner.
• Cleans work area as necessary or assigned ensuring the dining area is kept clean after and during meal times.
• Accepts and reconciles deliveries; puts away stock; monitors the use of supplies and notifies supervisor when supplies are limited.
• Assists the cook and dietary supervisor in food preparation; sets up buffet lines or salad bars.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma.
• Experience working in a kitchen with equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and dishwashers is a plus.
• Must be older than 21 years of age
