Located on 20 acres of rolling hills in a rural setting, about 45 minutes from Nashville, Tennessee, Oak Plains Academy offers psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents, struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. The Oak Plains Academy campus features a full-size gymnasium, separate academic building, and four dormitories.
We are looking for a Director of Clinical Services who is passionate and committed to helping our youth reach their goals! The ideal candidate is someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of the youth in our care and seeks a challenging environment with career development opportunities. Residents receive an individualized treatment plan, geared to meet their personal needs. A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers work closely with each resident to assist them to achieve there therapeutic and educational goals.
The Director of Clinical Services has overall responsibility for coordinating, supervising and implementing treatment and delivery of the programs and services for Oak Plains Academy youth. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for maintaining high quality care through staff development and education. The Director must ensure that the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures are in direct compliance with all JCAHO, federal, state and local regulations. The Director must establish and maintain a productive, professional relationship with the medical staff, management team and all other departments. The Director of Clinical Services reports to the Hospital CEO.

Qualifications
Must have a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and be licensed as an LPC or LCSW by the State of Tennessee. Must have at least five years clinical experience, have at least two years of supervisory experience and have a thorough working knowledge of psychiatric disorders and working knowledge of appropriate intervention techniques. Must have two years’ experience treating children and adolescents.
In addition to the duties of the Clinical Director, this role will rotate an ‘on-call’ (LIP) status with other Licensed staff to perform duties required by the facility.
