Director, Outpatient Services - Partial Hospitalization Programs - Behavioral Health
Peachford Hospital, one of the largest private behavioral health and addictive disease treatment facilities in the south, is recruiting a seasoned leader for our Partial Hospitalization Programs.
What Role Will You Play?
The Director of Outpatient Services leads a group of full time and PRN master’s prepared therapists and other support staff as they work to provide compassionate care to our patients. This position is responsible for the overall leadership of outpatient programs and works with other hospital leaders to ensure a therapeutic milieu is in place. The Director ensures proper staff assignments are made and follows through with team members to ensure all responsibilities are completed on a timely basis. Our Outpatient Therapists are responsible for delivering quality care to our patients and ensuring their safety and continued care and improvement and play a pivotal role in treatment planning and patient and family education. Our Lodge Staff are responsible for the daily operations of our overnight lodging program available for patients in our partial program.

What Will You Get To Do?
The successful candidate in this position will be responsible for completing a variety of duties and tasks including:
- Developing and implementing programs and clinical services necessary to meet key mental health and substance abuse treatment needs of our outpatient s as well as monitoring and evaluating clinical programs, utilizing the input and skills of the hospital’s clinical leadership team.
- Leading the Outpatient Staff to ensure effective utilization of department resources including the hiring, training and managing department employees.
- Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures pertaining to the Outpatient function which ensure program quality as well as high quality documentation of such work.
- Marketing the outpatient services department to internal and external customers.
- Encouraging and maintaining working relationship with and between physicians, allied health professionals, patients’ families and referral sources.
What Does Peachford Require for this Role?
A master’s degree in social work or clinical mental health counseling or other related is field and licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT is required. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years clinical mental health experience with at least 3 years experience in a leadership role. Experience leading teams of employees and planning for and implementing change will also help ensure your success in this highly visible role.

Qualifications
