Position Description
- Prepares and serves food for patients, staff, and visitors to meet their dietary needs.
- Cooks must be comfortable with scratch cooking, including fresh ingredients, and attention to detail and quality.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work area and ensures food quality is at health regulation standards.
- Follows dietary and hospital safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or cook’s aide in an institutional setting is preferred
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions in order to operate food service equipment and follow direction
- Must be able to complete assigned tasks in order to provide an efficient, safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly facility
