Position Description
As a member of the hospital plant operations team, the Information Technology (IT) Specialist investigates and diagnoses network problems, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions. Technologies to be managed include: server infrastructure, telecommunications, installation and trouble-shooting of all computers, multi-function and desktop printers and fax/copy machines, hospital paging system, computer security access and back-up systems. This role will cross train to support broader Plant Operations team.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Associates degree in computer science or related field and/or equivalent experience. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in computer related field
- Prefer 3-5 years of experience in the field of Information Services/Technology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of network administration computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting computer system components.
- Experience with VOIP preferred.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
