The UHS Corporate Construction Department is hiring a Project Manager - Interior Design that will play an integral role in coordinating critical project information related to interior design, finishes, and furnishings across the company's property team and portfolio. This includes Behavioral Health, Acute and Outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Review and approve comprehensive finishes packages, provided by our architect consultants, to ensure they meet our interior design standards. This will apply to projects for Acute, Ambulatory and Behavioral Health (BH). UHS goal is to provide an environment of care that is less institutions and more hospitality like which keeping patient safety in mind, especially on the BH side
- Review and approve all artwork individually or as part of a committee to ensure local images are included and the scale of the artwork aligns to the size of the space. Also ensure artwork is appropriate and adds to the mission of creating elegant hospitality like spaces for patients and staff
- Communicate with UHS project managers to ensure our interior standards are being maintained and our artwork standards are being met. Plan and manage project goals, tasks, schedules, and documentation, ensuring all project information is current and properly organized
- Maintain the brand’s interior design guide to ensure a consistent and corporate aesthetic across the portfolio and keep updated when product lines are discontinued
- Build relationships with existing and new supply chain members, challenging costs in collaboration with Project Managers and Directors
- Conduct cost comparison analysis
- Participate in and manage well-coordinated bids and procurement work packages for interior fit-out
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field with 3 - 5 years' experience.
- Experience with building codes, regulations, and standards, particularly related to healthcare facilities
- Experience in managing design projects from concept to completion
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop; experience with additional Adobe Design Suite tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of Revit and SketchUp is preferred but not required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in documentation management and project management tools, with a desire to develop, learn, and master new company systems
- Must have meticulous attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Travel up to 30%
