What are the responsibilities and job description for the MILIEU COORDINATOR position at UHS?

Responsible for providing guidance/education to nursing staff members regarding milieu management, consultation for treatment team and Unit staff regarding specific patients or patient groups to address complex behavioral issues. Actively involved in the orientation, mentoring and on-going education of Behavioral Health Specialist team. Helps Nursing staff facilitate structured group programming for increased daily program compliance. Responsible for coordination of scheduling nursing resources to best meet needs of patient care, including collaboration on scheduling templates. Serves as key member of Nursing Team and actively engaged in helping to manage day-to-day operations of the inpatient care units.

Qualifications
Education/Training
HS diploma required, associates/bachelors degree preferred
1-3 years of relevant behavioral health/psych experience preferred
