Behavioral Health Connections (BHC)  is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor PRN, to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Flexible to work 12 hours shifts. The Mobile Assessor provides onsite and or/remote mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge of therapeutic and developmental needs of clients from age four through geriatric
• Facilitates transfer of patient to inpatient facility if necessary
• Assist ER/Hospital with commitment procedures if appropriate
• Documents services provided including disposition of each patient that is assessed

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Current license in state in which work is perfromed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Profresional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Associate Professional Counselor (APC).

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE

1-3 Years work related experince 

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.

Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.

Mobile assessment experience preferred.
