Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center are seeking a highly skilled Neurohospitalist Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to provide exceptional inpatient services at both hospitals in Manatee County. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, treating a wide spectrum of neurological disorders and providing consultative neurology services to inpatients. The schedule for this position is 7 on/7 off.

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center A 120-bed acute care hospital offering emergency services, general and robotic surgery, maternity care, breast health, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, stroke care, sleep medicine, urology, and wound care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, treating a wide spectrum of neurological disorders and providing consultative neurology services to inpatients. Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient Neurohospitalist services, including consultative neurology care.
- Treat a wide range of neurological disorders with a focus on acute stroke care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, and dedicated care management professionals.
- Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services to support patient care needs.
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in Neurology or as an APP Neurohospitalist strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
