We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our Adult Med Surg department at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY.
This is a per diem position with varied shifts, providing an opportunity for flexibility and work-life balance.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse (RN) or graduate nurse (GN) with experience in acute care or ambulatory settings. A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is preferred, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect, promote, and optimize health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, and alleviation of suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human response.
- Provide patient-centered care, promoting a caring and healing environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Comply with all standards of practice, professional development, and policies as outlined by the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Bill of Patient Rights.
