Outpatient Therapist

Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children,  and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well.  Wellstone is currently looking to fill an Outpatient position that will cover Outpatient group services for one of our Outpatient populations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinically related mental health field.

Experience: Float Therapist prefers, but does not require, two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. This time in the field can include practicum and internship studies or work at a mental health institution while an undergraduate.

License: Float Therapist should be licensed as a LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC in the state of Indiana (provisional is acceptable as well.)

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and CPI training prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Float Therapist must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary. Weekend coverage is required, as needed.
