Palm Point is currently recruiting for Full Time Patient Accounts Specialist . Patient Account Specialist responsibilites will include: verifing patient eligibility and benefits, financial counseling with patients , upfront cash collections and claim follow up with commerical and governmental insurance companies.

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College course work in Business practices preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care collections or related field, or any combination of education, training, or experience in a health care business office environment required. Experience with insurance billing, computer and business software programs (Microsoft Excel) preferred.
- May be required to work flexible hours
