We are seeking qualified candidates for our Per Diem Driver - Outpatient Program - Georgetown Location position. The selected candidate will provide safe, efficient transportation services to patients and visitors under the department of Patient Transportation, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week. This position is based out of our Georgetown location.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Safely and timely transport patients or visitors to and from specified locations
- Conduct safety inspections of company vehicles prior to and after any transportations
- Address vehicle maintenance and repair needs in accordance with established procedures
- Oversee the safe storage and transport of patient medications
- Run errands, pick up supplies and make deliveries as requested
- Maintain transportation logbook and other documentation associated with services provided
- Identify, document, and report any and all instances of adult or child abuse and neglect to the appropriate parties including a member of management, the police, and state agencies
Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent combination education and experience
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Preferred:
- 1 year of experience with de-escilation techniques and behavior management of children, adults, and adolescents
