Valley Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a Director of Performance Improvement/Quality with a background in Behavioral Health to join our team of dedicated professionals!
The Director of Performance Improvement/ Quality is responsible for directing and monitoring the facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility’s programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, TJC, CMS and state and federal agencies. The Director of Performance Improvement/ Quality will develop, implement, and periodically evaluate processes to ensure the facilities operations meet quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by Valley Hospital.

Qualifications
- Education:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Social Work or related behavioral health field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience:Four (4) years of experience in risk management/improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting.
- Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of TJC, OBHL, ADHS, CMS, OSHA and Patient Rights Standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
