Responsibilities
With support of leadership, the Risk Management Analyst has responsibility for researching, coordinating, implementing, and following up on
activities related to the hospitalwide Risk Management Program. Specific activities encompass collecting and analyzing risk management and
patient safety data, analysis of the data and recommendation of programs to mitigate risk and improve patient safety. Works collaboratively
with departments to implement Corporate and Facility risk reduction strategies and patient safety goals. The position entails data collection,
analysis, reporting, educating, providing leadership, and being accountable for related activities. This positions is an integral part of the
Risk/Compliance team in providing support services to the facility. Departmental cross-training provide for back-up support as needed to the
Director of Risk Management. Risk Analyst reports directly to the Director of Risk Management.
Qualifications
Associates and/or an RN minimum required.
Minimum 3 years experience required;3-5 years preferred
Knowledgeable with regard to Joint Commission Standards and CMS/DHS Regulations.
Proficient with computers and understanding of statistical analysis.
