ResponsibilitiesSCHOOL BASED / OUTPATIENT CLINICIANAbout the Role: Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer Part Time and Full Time combination (Outpatient and School Based) opportunities for Licensed Clinicians or Master's Level Clinicians working towards their licensure in Norwell, MA. Job Description: School Based Clinicians work in elementary, middle, and high schools delivering mental health services to children with a variety of needs including trauma, anxiety, and depression. They work closely with school personnel, other outside treatment providers, and families to provide a quality continuum of care. Our Outpatient counseling allows our patients to receive treatment options and support within a much more free and open time schedule.Types of Therapy: We offer individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program. We also provide clinicians with the ability to customize their own professional experience. Additionally, we offer a flexible schedule to accommodate work/life balance.Essential Responsibilities:
- Assess clients or family's needs and eligibility for services.
- Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions in accordance with assigned client needs.
- Support clients through collaboration with client's family, school, other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources.
- Provide case management, referrals, and treatment planning for assigned clients.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources.
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) System.
- Weekly licensure Supervision.

- Flexible schedule.
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university.
- Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits.
- Required license eligibility with: LICSW, LMHC OR LMFT.
- CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed).
- Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills.
- Familiarity with support groups.
- Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds.
- Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping.
- Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation.
- Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation.
