Atlantic Region CBO (uhs.com)
The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Collection Specialist.
The Senior Collection Specialists performs many of the same duties as a Collection Specialist but functions as an experienced collector who works high dollar accounts, assists in high dollar review projects, works to identify trends/issues with payers, assists in pulling AR reports, and serves as an additional resource to the collections department.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work and monitor high dollar outstanding claims or special collection work list
- Provides assistance to collection manager and team lead by reviewing and/or creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned
- Participates in the training of new hires and ongoing in services as appropriate concerning areas of responsibility and payer specific updates
- Assist department manager and team leads with developing group departmental goals and objectives
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years collections experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Familiarity insurance collections and 3-5 years healthcare business office experience preferred.
