Telehealth Coordinator/Scribe Position Opportunity –
Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a psychiatric hospital that began offering substance abuse and mental health services in 2002. Primarily established to house adolescents, Lighthouse has transitioned to offering a full spectrum of acute inpatient services to adults and seniors as well. Since 2010, Lighthouse has expanded its mental health and substance abuse services. In 2013, Lighthouse opened a 28-day inpatient chemical dependency rehabilitation unit—the first of its kind in the Grand Strand area. In 2015, Lighthouse opened an acute adolescent unit to meet the needs of teens and their families in the Grand Strand. In 2022, Lighthouse opened an Adult Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program. At Lighthouse, we strive to perform at a high level for our patients and their families.
The Telehealth Site Coordinator utilizes innovation workflows and emerging technologies to enhance patient care and wellness within Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital.
This role is a key contributor to the telehealth program The Telehealth Site Coordinator coordinates patient care, health information documentation, and communication materials and participates in process improvement.
The Telehealth Site Coordinator exercises a high degree of integrity and judgement as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously to support a highly complex and widespread portfolio of services. The Executive Telehealth Coordinator often works collaboratively and cross functionally with physicians, clinicians and front line staff.

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, technology operations or relevant support services in a healthcare setting.
- SCRIBE Experience Required.
Highly Desired Skills
- Previous experience with telehealth is highly desirable
- Previous experience with program development is highly desirable
- Previous patient care experience
- Familiarity with hospital and clinic care management environments, operations, language, and economics
