The dedicated professionals at Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. Palm Shores is currently hiring a Therapist for our Military Family Program Manager position. This person will have experience working with adolescent patients and their families in the treatment of behavioral and psychological presentations and how it relates to family military involvement. The Military Family Program Manager (MFPM) is responsible for direct oversight of day-to-day operations of Military Family program. The MFPM conducts individual, group, and family therapy. The MFPM works closely with clinical leaders in the development and daily implementation of Military Family focused curriculum and analyzes efficacy. The MFPM represents Palm Shores and the Military Program in community based events with the business development department.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other related field.
License/Certification: Valid FL license in field/degree. LSCW, LMHC or LMFT preferred.
Preffered: EMDR (or actively working on certification upon hire) and TF-CBT
Required:
Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and Pre-employment Drug Test.
Must be able to interact positively with patients on a daily basis whose behavior may be challenging, uncooperative or aggressive.
Must be able to work successfully under highly stressful conditions.
Current CPR or successful completion of during orientation.
Successful completion of Handle with Care (restraint menthod) within 7 days of orientation.
