What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist position at UHS?
Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults, many of whom have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurodiversities. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services.
The Therapist: provides therapeutic services utilizing behavior based interventions to children and adolescents utilizing individual, family, and group modalities; performs biopsychosocial and behavioral assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary treatment plan that results in positive outcomes for patients; works collaboratively with youth and their families to effectively address positive behavior changes; develops a discharge plan with the child and family that includes aftercare services in the community that can provide continued support to the child and family post-discharge.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university.
- Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours.
- Experience with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities preferred.
