THERAPIST

Due to growth in both our Athens and Lawrenceville locations, we are seeking an experienced Outpatient Therapist. The Outpatient Therapist provides clinical services via group, family, and individual therapy as well as completes social histories and treatment plans as a valued member of a treatment team. It is also expected that the Outpatient Therapist will maintain positive relationships with service providers to function as a service broker and coordinate transition and discharge planning for patients in our care.

SummitRidge Hospital –is a place for Healing and Hope!  Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta).  Our dedicated team of professionals provide caring and professional inpatient, outpatient and support services to adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric or addictive disorders. Additionally, the Geriatric unit provides acute care for seniors in psychiatric crisis. (Includes a location in Athens).

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
• Must be licensed or license eligible.
• A minimum of one-year post master’s degree, preferred.
• Strong clinical skills to address crisis situations, family, group, and individual therapy.
• Strong verbal and communication skills
