If so...Foundations For Living is recruiting a Full-Time Transportation Specialist. No experience necessary - all training is provided. Starting pay for this position is $12.00/hourly.

Foundations For Living is an 84 bed (14 males and 70 females) secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, in a 14 rolling, wooded acres rural setting, Foundations For Living has easy access to I-71. Foundations For Living is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and CARF accredited. Foundations For Living offers individual, group, and family counseling to our residents. Our mission is to provide an environment of safety where youth feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future.
The Transportation Specialist provides and ensures secure transportation services for residents as requested or assigned. Other duties include: Follows all laws while in a vehicle established by Law Enforcement-Follows all traffic laws while in a vehicle. Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and report unusual behavior or physical ailments to medical staff. Transport residents to and from appointments. Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles. Keeps all vehicles clean. Reports all safety issues with vehicles to supervisor.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required and one (1) year experience working in a children’s services program or residential setting is preferred. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology or related field preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Certified in CPR and First Aid
Valid State Driver’s License with appropriate Endorsement
Must be an authorized driver which means you cannot have any of the following:
If the state record indicates that the driver’s license is currently revoked, suspended or that the status is not valid and current
Multiple violations for driving without insurance
Two at-fault accidents during the past three (3) years
Three (3) moving violations during the last three (3) years
Driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) convictions.
