This Unit Clerk/Monitor Tech opportunity is per diem and a convenient night shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamice Unit Clerk/Monitor Tech.

Provides indirect care in the department setting.  Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac screen or telemetry monitors.  Meets communication needs of the department.  Transcribes physician orders from records with notation and signatures by nursing staff.  Prepares and compiles records in the department.  Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Approaches family and visitors in a kind and professional manner.
• Gives explanations and verbal reassurances consistently to family and visitors.
• Interacts professionally with co-workers and other healthcare providers.
• Reflects knowledge and judgment in decisions and actions within the job description of the Unit Secretary/Monitor Technician.

• BLS Certification required.
• Monitor Tech experience required.
