Palm Shore is now hiring for full-time experienced on-site Utilization Review Coordinator with a convenient day schedule Monday through Friday.
Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages 11–17 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges. The dedicated professionals at Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home. Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is a proud provider for the Patriot Support Program.
The Utilization Review Coordinator performs admission and concurrent review of patients. Assures optimum quality of patient care in the most cost-effective manner. Works closely with the treatment tream including physicians and the Clinical Services department to ensure quality of documentation of patient care.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other related field. OR Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Nursing with Florida RN Licensure.
Experience: Minimum Three (3) year’s experience in chart analysis and utilization review in the psychiatric and chemical dependency filed preferred.
License/Certification: Valid FL license in field/degree. LSCW, LMHC or LMFT preferred.
Skills: Good oral and written communication skills required to communicate in a clear and concise manner with patients, physicians, staff and administration. Stable emotional makeup required to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Physical Requirements: Work is sedentary requiring sitting most of the day. Sitting at least six (6) hours a day while processing paperwork, ability to speak in a clear concise manor, hear telephone or Zoom conference calls regarding patient's length of stay.
