VAN DRIVER- BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Valley Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dynamic & talented Outpatient/Transportation Driver

The Outpatient Transporter position will be responsible for the transportation needs of the Outpatient dept. and the transportation schedule and other clerical duties. This position will be called upon to provide transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. Additionally, this position will be responsible for admitting patients, chart assembly and clerical needs of the Outpatient Dept.  This position also schedules van drivers according to the needs of the facility and works with the inpatient unit to coordinate the inpatient discharges.  

Location:        3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 

Schedule:       This is a full-time, Day Shift position.  Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Drivers must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Maintains a valid, class specific driver’s license applicable to the transportation of patients.
• Physical Examination (at least as extensive as the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for Commercial Drivers)
