Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative electrical/mechanical draftsman or junior engineer to join our dynamic team developing innovative recycling technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical and mechanical systems and components. This role requires at least an associates degree in relevant field, and a strong foundation in industrial engineering principles, as well as hands-on experience with various engineering tools and technologies. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional team of scientists and engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects from conception through fabrication. Proficiency in either SolidWorks or AutoCAD is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is a must. Knowledge of any computer languages is a plus.
Duties
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Create detailed schematics and documentation for electrical/mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
Experience
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in design and system development.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for design purposes.
- Familiarity with firmware development processes is a plus.
