A great UHY client is seeking a Temporary Credit Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have their bachelors degree and will have 2-5 years of experience as a credit analyst.
The Temporary Credit Analyst is a hybrid role, with 6 days each month being onsite. This is a contract position, but it has the potential to become permanent.
Temporary Credit Analyst Representative Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of customer’s credit line based on review of financial statements, sales history, market conditions, credit reports and other available credit tools to ensure appropriate credit line exposure.
- Ensuring accurate and current trade receivables through review and analysis of account aging for assigned portfolio. Actively monitor all account activity (credit and debit memos and deductions) as a part of collection activities, in partnership with Accounts Receivable, to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor credit exposure actively, especially during peak seasons, to ensure orders are released timely, while mitigating risk of non-collection or delinquent payment. Escalate order management issues to management and provide recommendation on how to resolve order holds productively.
- Serve as a liaison between internal (Sales, Finance, Order Management, Customer Experience) and external business partners (Customers) to rectify payment issues, discrepancies or other challenges to orders and payments. Escalate issues timely to management and partner to resolve.
- Ensure an efficient on-boarding process for new applicants, including the appropriate request and review of financial information, bank and trade references, and business credit reports.
- Appropriately use systems and technology to efficiently complete work and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
