A great UHY client is seeking a Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a full scope accountant, some manufacturing experience, Sage software experience, and some minimal HR experience.
The Controller role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Manage the budgeting process and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee the accounting team and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Controller Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5 years of accounting experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
