Job Summary
">As a seasoned Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This includes managing production, quality, and labor utilization, as well as implementing strategic improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Develop and implement plans to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage a team of employees to ensure effective utilization of plant personnel and equipment.
- Collaborate with functional departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a positive employee morale and oversee maintenance department to accomplish a 98% uptime.
- Verify preventative maintenance program and ensure all staff are trained in Good Manufacturing Practices as defined by FDA and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
">- Ten or more years of experience in plant operations Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
- Proven skills in leadership and management.
- Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
- Able to work in a dynamic & fast paced environment.
- Excellent organizational & project management skills.
- Attention to details.
- Effectively prioritize tasks & multitask.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business, engineering, or related field.
