A great UHY client is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in supporting our people strategy, focusing on talent acquisition and employee relations. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, ensuring we attract, retain, and engage top talent while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
The HR Business Partner role is hybrid position, with Tuesday-Thursday being onsite. This is a client direct hire position.
HR Business Partner Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Skills:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles across the organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and create job descriptions, interview processes, and hiring plans.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive networking and employer branding initiatives.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
HR Business Partner Employee Relations & Engagement Skills:
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing workplace concerns and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conduct investigations and recommend solutions for employee relations issues in alignment with company policies and employment laws.
HR Business Partner HR Operations & Compliance Skills:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices.
- Support HR programs related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), learning and development, and company culture initiatives.
HR Business Partner Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and employee relations.
- Experience in a small to mid-sized company is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while building strong relationships across the organization.
- Experience with HRIS and recruiting tools.
