A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong GL Accounting experience, enjoy following processes, and have AP/AR/Bank Rec experience.
The Senior Accountant role is an onsite position. This is a client direct hire position.
Senior Accountant Job Description
- From data entry to month, quarter and year-end closings
- A/R & A/P, Deposits, and Cash reconciliations
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks such as recording month-end accruals, cash reconciliations
- Bank reconciliation
- Assist in State Sales Tax Returns
- Assist/develop management reports to understand our costs
- Organize data and information
Senior Accountant Skill Requirements
- 5 years experience with a full double-entry bookkeeping system or fully integrated ERP
- 5 years’ accounting experience with QuickBooks
- Applicants must have hands-on experience in full double-entry bookkeeping
- Full understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, higher degrees a plus
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency in Excel
- Have experience developing data and reporting to management
