Position Summary
The Clinic Supervisor will oversee and guide clinical staff, fostering a cohesive and efficient team to ensure the ongoing success and growth of UI Sleep Solutions. This role will take a hands-on approach in developing and implementing initiatives to support operational excellence. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Clinic Supervisor will assist customers with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) equipment, supplies, and other DME products in a professional and friendly manner. This position will also collaborate closely with physicians, customers, employees, and management to deliver exceptional products and services, ensuring compliance with all legal and company standards.
Position Responsibilities
Supervisory
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and local, state and federal regulations and laws.
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
Manage clinician schedules, ensure appropriate staffing, and address front-line customer concerns in coordination with the Intake Coordinator Lead.Develop and enforce clinic policies, procedures, and standards.Monitor and manage inventory of CPAP and other respiratory equipment, placing orders as needed.Serve as a key resource for clinical staff, supporting systems (Brightree, AirView, CareOrchestrator, Epic), prescriptions, documentation, and patient communications.Lead and coordinate staff training based on clinical expertise and qualifications.Provide daily feedback to staff, assist with performance reviews, and support the Associate Director of Operations in disciplinary actions and policy enforcement.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety, and company policies.Stay current on industry advancements and maintain credentialing requirements through ongoing education.Education and Experience Requirements
Associate’s degree in healthcare, respiratory therapy, or a related field (or equivalent experience)One or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting, preferably in sleep or respiratory care.Proficiency in healthcare systems such as Brightree, AirView, CareOrchestrator, and Epic.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.Knowledge of CPAP equipment, respiratory care protocols, and DME operations.Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and fostering a collaborative work environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).Commitment to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in the work environment.Desired Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, respiratory therapy, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3 years of experience in a sleep, respiratory, or durable medical equipment (DME) clinic.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials.Previous experience training and mentoring clinical teams.Familiarity with inventory management and ordering systems.Required Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift / push / pull 35lbs 2 times in a row. Lifting from floor to counter. Push / pull 50 lbs. on a hand cart.Walking, lifting, reaching, stooping, etc., with or without the use of assistive / adaptive devices.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Additional Eligibility Requirements
Successful completion of a background check.Successful completion of reference checks.Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.A physical examination completed at the time of employment with a physician’s statement of the employee’s ability to perform the duties of the job is required.Expected Work Hours and Location
Generally, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm with occasional nights and weekends. Days and hours are subject to change with notice.
