Position Summary

Extra Help Medical Lab Assistant II performs routine medical laboratory tasks requiring strict adherence to established procedures and basic knowledge of laboratory material, equipment, and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive specimens into the laboratory
• Label and Centrifuge specimens
• Aliquot specimens
• Answer telephone
• Deliver specimens to the lab departments
• File paper requisitions
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year (12 months) of medical laboratory experience.
