Description
We seek a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our laboratory focused on Liver Diseases within the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Applicants should be nearing graduation or within one year of completing their Ph.D.
Priority will be given to applicants with expertise in the following areas:
Liver immunology
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
Metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH)
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC)
Qualifications
Solid background in liver disease
Strong publication record
Proficiency in spoken and written English

Please submit a one-page CV focusing primarily on your publications (longer CVs will be automatically rejected).
Candidates will be evaluated based on their CV, an interview, the ability to write an innovative research project, and three reference letters from faculty members directly involved in their supervision, one of which must be from their Ph.D. thesis advisor. Please do not apply if you are unwilling to write a research project, as this is the most important step in the recruitment process.
