Job Description:
The Automotive Production Supervisor / Manager will oversee and coordinate daily operations of the automotive production line. This role includes developing production schedules, supervising line workers, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The supervisor will also collaborate closely with the HR, Quality, and Maintenance departments to meet production goals.
Your duties will include:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the automotive production line to ensure production goals are met
- Create and manage production schedules based on overall project timelines and delivery requirements
- Coordinate with the HR department to assign line workers, technicians, and support staff appropriately
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and quality
- Ensure all team members comply with safety regulations and quality standards
- Document and report daily production output, downtime, and material usage
- Support troubleshooting of production issues and coordinate solutions with Maintenance and Engineering teams
- Train new employees and ensure ongoing performance feedback is provided
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Your qualifications are as follows:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required (both verbal and written)
- 2–7 years of experience in automotive production, manufacturing, or assembly line supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with employees and resolving conflicts
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to follow through with a sense of urgency
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
