About the Role
This position supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, working closely with the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) to ensure successful program outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong logistical and analytical skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels and maintaining accurate records are essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics and acquisition type duties from initial request to long-term program life-cycle sustainment.
- Research foreign government requirements and prepare Letters of Acceptance (LOA).
- Conduct technical reviews and analysis for Letters of Request (LOR) and calculate manpower for FMS cases.
- Develop unique FMS case notes and coordinate total package advanced planning for weapon systems.
- Vet release of FMS country-requested equipment in accordance with technology security and transfer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to resolve complex problems and communicate effectively.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
