We are looking for a talented Technical Writer / Editor to create high-quality technical documentation for our GIS projects. Your primary responsibilities will include researching, writing, and editing complex documents, as well as editing and customizing screenshots and other graphics.
In addition to your writing skills, you should be proficient in document-development applications, such as Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and graphics applications like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Visio.
A Bachelor's degree and one to three years of experience in a technical writing position are required. You should possess excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills.
This role requires multitasking, good judgment, and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team. Experience with Agile development methodologies, GitLab, eMASS, SpecsIntact, Camtasia, and/or Esri ArcGIS is a plus.
