Overview
Mid-Level Social Media Manager :
Bowhead is seeking a Mid-Level Social Media Manager for an upcoming effort located at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. The Mid-Level Social Media Manager will Develop, plan and execute social media content and campaigns aligned to Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) messaging priorities and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Curates all relevant visual and audio / video media and news products, creates and retains statistics / measures of effectiveness for maximum engagement to a wide range of audiences; including Members of Congress, Department of Defense (DOD), industry stakeholders, general public as wells as military and civilian personnel within the NAVSEA enterprise.
- Acts as the primary manager and content creator for the command's social media sites (currently Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram).

Qualifications
Target salary is $85,000 / year to $140,000 / year commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands :
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
