UIC is seeking an Assistant Director Digital Content, Marketing and Communications to join our UIC Extended Campus team. This position manages and maintains our WordPress websites while developing and implementing engaging social media content. This role is responsible for updating website content, optimizing for SEO, creating social media posts, along with monthly reporting and analysis. Duties include assisting the marketing team with execution of the marketing strategy to generate leads and drive enrollments for UIC Online (UIC Extended Campus). This position also coordinates projects with internal and external partners and service providers.

Web Content Specialist for UIC Online Programs:
- Create, update, and manage website content using WordPress RED.
- Maintain web pages, blog posts, and landing pages. Post blog content on websites.
- Optimize web content for SEO and user engagement, including schema markup.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix broken links, outdated content, and technical issues.
- Prepare annual plan presentations recapping past years initiatives and outline strategy to hit annual enrollment goals for next year.
- Communicate and collaborate with multiple teams, UIC online marketing and Extended Campus teams.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies, website trends and best practices.
Reports and Analytics:
- Pull monthly website and social media reports by program.
- Track, analyze, interpret, and make recommendations based on the data.
- Present data from Google Analytics.
Social Media:
- Create copy and graphic images for monthly social media posts.
- Manage monthly calendar and distribution of assets to Colleges or posting online.
- Oversee social media accounts.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop leads, and brand awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in social media.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
