JOB SUMMARY
This is a Full-Time position with UIC Business Enterprises at the Car Rental Shop. This position will be responsible for handling all rental reservations; returns of vehicles; and meet and greet customers.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage day to day operations of Car Rental; manage staff; maintain credit card machine; maintain staffing - scheduling; check in / out vehicles; and ensure all vehicles are maintained daily; weekly; monthly routine maintenance check - diagnosis. Deal with customers daily.
- Assuring sales are reported to accounting with back-up on a daily basis. Assuring all car rental forms; direct billing; credit card; tax exemption etc. are properly filed and submitted to accounting.
- Able to attend planning meetings with UHL General Manager Secure all vehicles; recommend repairs to auto shops for all car rental vehicles.
- Monitor the budget and prepare quarterly taxes as directed.
- Assist in the Establishment and implementation of departmental policies; goals; objectives; and procedures; conferring with UHI Manager.
- Assist in the planning and directing activities such as sales promotions; coordinating with UHI General Manager as required.
- 24 Hr. Emergency Call Out for Car Rental Customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
