Position Summary
The Extra Help Fitness and Aquatics Aide will conduct one-on-one, semi-private sessions or virtual personal training with participants of the UIC Personal Trainer program.
Duties & Responsibilities
Instruction and Communication:
Demonstrate competency in instruction and effective communication.
Ability to explain and demonstrate fundamental techniques and methods.
Program Preparation and Teaching:
Plan, prepare and lead safe and effective personal training sessions, fitness assessments, and equipment orientations
Develop safe and effective, client-specific exercise programs Maintain documentation of client progress.
Enforce program policies and rules as provided by the Fitness Coordinator.
Attend meetings and complete training and seminars required by the institution or certification body
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
